Wellness Coalition Community Grants
The Western Regional Wellness Coalition is accepting applications for community grants of up to $1000. Grants are available to community organizations with activities focusing on the wellness priorities: healthy eating, physical activity, living smoke –free, injury prevention, mental health promotion, child & youth development, healthy environments, and health literacy. The deadline for applications is March 15. |
Funding: Conservation Corps NL Green Team
Conservation Corps Newfoundland and Labrador is currently seeking proposals for funding through the Green Team Program. Community Partners are eligible to receive funding and assistance from the Conservation Corps associated with hiring youth to work on a proposed community project.

Are you struggling with recruiting and retaining the key staff you need? Enter the CBDCs!
You can access up to $5,000 for innovative solutions to recruitment and retention challenges. Costs will be reimbursed based on approved activities and you will be required to provide feedback on results of the initiative. Intro to Network mapping Workshop
Are networks important to your work? Do you want to understand how to map and strengthen local networks?
This workshop will explore the background and technique of social network analysis through presentations and practical hand-on activities. It will also provide an overview of ideas for weaving and strengthening new and existing networks.The workshop is open to everyone and there is no fee for attending.

Age-friendly NL Grants
Applications are now being accepted for the Age-Friendly NL (AFNL) Grants Program. Funding is available to assist incorporated municipalities, seniors’ organizations and retiree groups in planning for an aging population. A total of $200,000 will be distributed. The deadline for applications for the AFNL Grants Program is February 15, 2012.
