Hughes Brook
Hughes Brook is a small town located on the north shore Bay of Islands, roughly 12 km
from Corner Brook. The settlement in Hughes Brook got underway in the late 1960s,
more than 10 years after the Balern Bridge crossed the Humber River in 1955.
Local
Government came to the town in 1975.
Most residents are supported by
jobs outside of the town,
particularly in Corner Brook. |
