Welcome to Zone 8

HEDB Inc is operated by a volunteer board of directors, an Executive Director, and an Executive Assistant. Throughout the year, additional support staff is provided through federally and provincially funded programs and through the work placements from the region's post-secondary educational institutions.

The staff works closely with the local development agencies, government and the private sector, to identify opportunities in the Humber zone. The zone encompasses 35 communities from Great Harbour Deep in White Bay South, through the Humber Valley, into the City of Corner Brook, and the Bay of Islands.

The Humber Economic Development Board Inc is in the process of developing a new three year Strategic Economic Plan for Zone 8.  We would like to have your thoughts on the Strategic Direction for this zone.
